Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ToolsHub ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ToolsHub.

2. Description of Service

ToolsHub provides free online calculators and tools including but not limited to: tip calculator, password generator, currency converter, BMI calculator, loan calculator, QR code generator, word counter, age calculator, unit converter, timer, color generator, Lorem Ipsum generator, interest calculator, discount calculator, and business name generator. All tools operate entirely within your web browser.

3. Use License

Permission is granted to use our tools for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our code without prior written permission
• Use tools for any illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise service operation
• Scrape, automate, or excessively access our tools in a manner that degrades service for others
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialize our tools without authorization
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use tools responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws
• Verify all calculations and results independently before relying on them
• Not rely solely on our tools for critical financial, medical, legal, or other important decisions
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Not misuse any generated content (passwords, QR codes, etc.)
• Report any security vulnerabilities or bugs you discover

IMPORTANT: ToolsHub is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of calculations
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Merchantability
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Security or freedom from viruses or harmful components

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING THE LAWS OF CANADA:

• ToolsHub, its owners, operators, and affiliates shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• This includes, without limitation, damages arising from use or inability to use our Service, reliance on calculations or results, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption
• Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed CAD $100 (one hundred Canadian dollars)
• Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages; in such cases, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ToolsHub and its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Google AdSense: We use Google AdSense for advertisements. Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to ads displayed on our site.

External Libraries: We use third-party libraries (such as QRCode.js). Their respective licenses and terms apply.

Hosting: Our site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify's Terms of Use may apply.

9. Intellectual Property

• The ToolsHub name, logo, and design are our property or used under license
• Tool interfaces and original code are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
• You retain all rights to any content you create using our tools
• Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding

10. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use our tools to:

• Generate content for phishing, scams, fraud, or other deceptive purposes
• Create malicious QR codes or other harmful content
• Conduct any illegal activities under Canadian law or the laws of your jurisdiction
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software
• Engage in activities that violate any applicable laws or regulations

11. Service Availability

• We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted availability of the Service
• Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or technical issues
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any tools or features without prior notice
• No compensation will be provided for service interruptions or discontinuation

Your use of ToolsHub is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data collection and use practices.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. The "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly. 14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ToolsHub regarding your use of the Service, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.

21. Language
